Why?
The most profound impact on human life was not religion, politics, or theory, but the steam engine. I'm working on building the next 'steam engine' by understanding how the brain works and applying that learning to building artificial intelligence.
What should we read?
My favorite stories aren't found in books, but outside of the pages. But there are a few that are: The Information by Glick, Ben Franklin's autobiography, Superintelligence.
